How it works
These digits are produced by Jeremy Gibbons's unbounded spigot algorithm — it emits the decimal digits of π one at a time, indefinitely, using arbitrary-precision integers. No digit is precomputed; the server streams the next one, forever.
Because each new digit costs a little more than the last, the count climbs quickly at first and then gracefully slows — a live measure of how long this box has been thinking.
